Dr Phil Bardzil

Phil is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with considerable experience in executive, career and
performance coaching. He has worked extensively in both public and private sector organisations delivering a range of services for nearly 20 years. These include organisations such as: NHS provider Trusts and CCGs across the UK; National Police Forces; Universities of Cumbria, Bradford and Manchester; AstraZenica; Kellogg’s PLC; Australia Life PLC; Cooperative Bank PLC; L’Oreal UK Ltd; Brother UK;
Altitude PLC; MEPC Property; Bovis Lendlease PLC; and many others including a
wide range  SMEs owners; and third sector organisations. Phil is a full member of the Division of Occupational Psychology,
within the British Psychological Society (BPS: 075668), and a member of the
Special Group for Coaching. He is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with
the Health and Care Professions Council (PYL02234) and member of the
Association for Coaching (PJB0309M). He is qualified to administer a wide range
of psychometric instruments and is
recorded as a Member on the Register of
Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU)
.

Phil’s
background has been in business, having built and sold his own design and
manufacturing company and subsequently been MD of a subsidiary of a
multi-national PLC, prior to becoming a consultant. He has direct ‘hands on’
experience of the kinds of problems facing business leaders, in both small and
large organisations. This helps considerably with regard to developing empathy
and insight, into client problems and dilemmas, and adds to his credibility as an
executive coach.
Phil
uses a range of models and coaching approaches when working with clients, or
none at all, depending on what is likely to be most appropriate to the
presenting problems, the preferred style of the client, and what appears to
obtain the most positive results. Where relevant he uses approaches based on
the GROW and OSCAR models and utilises Cognitive Behavioural Coaching
approaches or Transactional Analysis – where there are emotionally charged
issues involved. His approach is very much client led and focused on the ‘whole
person’, based on empathy and rapport and clarification of client values.
